Have you ever had one of those days that you got so much done that it feels like there isn't anything you didn't do? It was one of those type of days for me. Got a couple base coats on a canvas, ran to the dump and got rid of all of the cardboard. still have at least 2 more runs to make:( I recycle a lot. I was there 45 minutes.
Then I came home, spray painted 2 magazine holders. Trimmed and potted a plant. Wrapped a couple packages and got those to the post office, took pictures, did the dishes, ran to the store, laundry, paid bills and the list really does go on. LOL Just one of those super busy type days.
Last night I finished up this tag. I love the tone of this one.
okay here is the color version.
it was inspired by a pinterst image from scrapcreation-judith.blogspot.com well that was the link on the pic. I have not checked it but I wanted to give credit. It was such a stunning picture/tag I had to do it.
Have to hit the hay early as taking Mom to the doctors again tomorrow. Hope you have a lovely weekend.

a few projects.
First off I made another photo/memo holder. I love how this turned out. Couldn't have made this if I didn't hoard a tart mold. *wink*
here is another view
For our Christmas in July celebration over at pfattmarketplace.com here is the link HERE!
Next up would be my dressform Tree topper. Inspired by Miranda edney and Charlene Gibson as well as the cage was inspired by a antique I saw a few weekends ago.
I love the simplicity of her. I think she could go into any decor and any style of tree. I kept her very fuss free so that she would maintain her vintage appeal.
Here is another view of her.
My last piece to share today is a canvas tile. I made this as a challenge for Limor's july video challenge. You can check that out HERE!
here is another view of this piece
These pieces were tons of fun. I am working on a couple more. I will be posting them soon. If you want more details of these pieces. I have videos up of all three. Here is the link for the tile.
thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Monday.

Sunshine is more work!
Have you ever noticed that when the sun is out there is more work for you to do? Well here anyway since Sunshine with no rain is a luxury. LOL with a average rain fall of 298 days a year that doesn't leave us many sunny days. We hit the Motherload this week. So far 3 days in the 80's and I am loving it. Wait... more work. Yes, cause the lawn is 12 inches high, and the weeds are even higher. So mowing, weeding and don't feel like I have touched it yet. Then painting. We have been waiting to paint and now we finally have the sunshine to do it. Quite the task but will be so happy when it is done. I am painting some furniture and a few other things.Lots of painting projects the list is a full page. Just hoping the sun holds out and no rain or all our work will be ruined.
I leave you with a pretty picture. One of my favorites. Just one of those pictures that makes me happy.
See you with more project peeks soon.

Enchantments DT CAMEO MINI ALBUM
YAY! I finished it. I have been working on and off on this mini for months now. I just don't think when I am doing them and when I start to think about it I get blocked. So for a person to not think about crafting and just do it, no stress can be involved! HA HA! Stress is my first name, middle and somewhere in the last 2. LOL I just have a lot of other influences that can make my life more stressed then it should be. So it took me a bit longer then it should have or I wanted it to.
I used all prima papers for the album. I used Nature Garden, Printery and Almanac. I love how they all flowed together for this. There are girly pages, distressed pages and just fun pages. The cover is super girly but I love that.
I did a video if you would like to see that? The link is here
thanks for stopping by! Have a happy and safe 4th! remember our troops.

A Creative Dream Sign
DO you have creative dreams? Craft in your sleep? I have had many dreams/ideas that I had to wake up and write down. That hasn't happened in a long time but I still keep a pad of paper and pen beside my bed just in case ;)
I imagine that many people have creative dreams in one form or another. Juliana is one of those people I assumed does so I created this sign just for her. I knew I wanted to make her a sign while I was waiting for other things to dry. You will see those as time goes on.
Ah the butterfly, my favorite part ya know! LOL Double layered with a chip board one as the base. I painted it cream and pink. Stamped it with a music note stamp. Then I painted over that here and there. I did the grungeboard letters the same way. I love how it all came together.
many items from the hoard vault were used on this piece. The trim with bells and glass beads. One of my favorites. I think I used all but 4 or 5 inches. Maybe just enough to use on a card perhaps.
Shabby is not my style but I felt good knowing I could pull it off if I had to. LOL The Prima paper was the star of the show for this piece though. Made it so easy.
That is all for now. Have a wonderful and safe 4th of July weekend! Remember our troops in your thoughts.
Blessings,Pea

Remember my sneak peek?
Remember I teased you with just a wee peek of this pretty? Well I wanted to share that I created something but the person I made this for watches my blog. So I couldn't. She received her package on Tuesday and so now I can show you more.
yes, this is a cupcake ballerina. I repainted her, used some stickles. Cut off the base and added a Tim Holtz washer to place her on the letter.
A Tim Holtz book plate and a butterfly wing. Along with some old sheet music and a wee bit of lace.
Now for the full view.
I really love how this piece turned out! Thanks to everyone for stopping by.

My Cup runnith over
Daddy always said you could measure the success of a persons life by their friends and the quality of them. I am very fortunate to know some very good quality people and even luckier to call a few of them friends.
One such person is Tracy of Tracy's treasures. She is probably one of the closest people on the planet to me besides my BFF and my family. She is sincere and just a genuine good egg! A bit scrambled on days but I hey, I know I am so it works out for both of us! LOL I know she will laugh at that statement, she gets my humor. Most people don't. I guess in this case it takes one to know one! LOL
Okay, enough mush on to the real reason of my post. I have received some wonderful happy mail in the past few days. One such bit of happy mail was this beautiful card. It made me smile and laugh as well. Tracy knows what I like. Scrap stuff. LOL so she geared the card towards a few of my favorite things. LOL
I am sure she spent countless hours coloring this image as well. I love her coloring. It is so good. I have a lot of catching up to do to be this good. Maybe one day perhaps.
Tracy also sent a long a few stamps. She knows my love of the gorjuss girls stamps. So she ordered a few of them for me! I have inked them up but not colored them yet. I will hopefully soon. Just not enough hours in the days. Now if you know how to make a clone, we need to talk! LOL
Here are my pretty stamps
So adorable! I love them both. I look forward to trying my hand at these. Thanks so much Tracy! I don't know what I would do without ya!

A little of this, a little of that
Okay, I did it. Not the best at it but I did it! Tracy has been nudging me we shall say to use some of the wonderful, adorable stamps I have along with my copics and color a card. I have only colored a few images and am sadly not very good at it. I know, I know you have to practice. Hee hee I get it, okay. LOL So here is practice I guess. I wasn't fond of the magnolia stamps at first. Now I love them. See how things, tastes change. I only had one, a gift from a friend up until now. Then I see all these wonderful, color masters coloring them and broke down and ordered two new ones. There is just a few more I think I would like to have but all in good time.
I used my MME lost and found2 blush papers from the 6 x 6 stack. The card measures 5.5 x 5.5. I love this size. I had the most trouble with the shoes! What colors do they use for the shoes. I used distress inks like they do in the magazine for the shoe and it did not turn out the way I had hoped. All in all I am happy with the first try with the magnolia stamp. Tons more to learn as you can see.
I wanted to use a paper doily die I have, do you think I could find it? Nope the trolls are back apparently. LOL I keep all the dies in one spot, so I hope it peeks it's little head out of hiding soon.
I have completed about 5 projects but I can't show them just yet. I am waiting for my partner to get them. I am in a swap with a friend and tomorrow she should have her goodies. I will share it all then.
So all your color masters, Help a ol' pea out and tell me what to use to color those boots. Along with any other helpful tips please.
Have a great Tuesday

Change is good!
Lots of changes going on in my life right now. My home, my personal life, etc so I think a few changes in my business and blogging are also in order. I often get a head of myself but I am trying very hard to work at a slow, methodical pace this time.
I am trying to figure out blogger at this moment and I might be bald before I am through. UGH I love technology and hate it at the same time. I hate when I can't figure something out on my own. I hate asking for help. One of things I just dislike doing. I want to figure it out on my own, but I may have to ask for help on this one.
I am working steadily in any spare moments on a project. I know most of you dislike little peeks but I don't like showing stuff until it is done. Unfinished works can change drastically in a short time, so I only give little peeks to show I am making progress. It makes me feel better! LOL
So here is your little peek. I hope to have it complete in a day or two. Until it is done this ,will have to do.
Hope to see you with more soon.

Another card
I made yet another card. Just quickly as I had a sale and wanted to make a card to go with it. It isn't my favorite card for the year but I think it turned out pretty. You can't tell by my picture but behind the flower is another one in blue that matches the paper perfectly.
I used the last of that bling until it arrives later this week hopefully;) I just love my rina bling from Karla001 etsy store.
Back to my card. I used the last of that vintage lace I had used in Tracy's mini album. I pulled it out of the jar and decided to use it. It actually felt good. I have had it for a LONG time!
Well back to my mini album everyone. I am determined to get it done. It is turning into a treasure I love. I can't wait to share it with you. Hoping by friday.

A card for a friend
I made this card today for a friend. I love how it turned out! I used a precolored image from Gorjuss girls. I love the stamps and have a few but can't bring myself to color them up. I am not very good at it yet and don't want to ruin the pretty images. So I cheated and used the pre-done image. LOL
The little flower was a hair bungie for a ponytail and I just cut off the elastic band. I got 2 of them a few years ago to use in my crafts. I was so happy to pull it out of the almost empty hoard vault. LOL
The picture isn't the best. I sure do miss picnik! It closed and my pictures just aren't as nice. Have to find a new online editing site. If you know of one, I hope you will tell me!
Off to work on my mini, nearing the end I think. YAY!
More on that soon.

The big ugly
I revealed on You tube that the big ugly was a huge filing cabinet. It was so ugly and still is! LOL I have been trying to paint it but weather just isn't cooperating very well. We have had lots of rain and very little shine. Today the sun peeked out a bit and that was wonderful but simply not warm enough to spray paint :(. I am hoping for another try tomorrow but simply not holding my breath.
See this ugly color. It is actually a beige like burnt oatmeal. LOL Some insides of the drawers are a gray military gray color. So My guess is it was a military cabinet at one time. Sold someone painted it this blah color and used it for their chimney business. It had a sticker on it saying chimney services. That was kinda neat to see.
My papers won't fit exactly the way I had planned and I sure hope I can get it all in here. If I can't I don't have a plan B at this point so I guess I will get that figured out when I get there. LOL Poor hubby if he has to move this beast twice. It is HEAVY! I mean HEAVY. I can barely scoot it. I am not weak but I am not a lumberjack either. LOL
So back to work for me. I have a few projects calling my name. Including the vacuum. LOL

IT's A BOY!!!
I am happy to announce that Tyler and Cassi are having a boy! Found out today without a doubt it is a boy.
Yay! so happy. Just look at that wee face. Gonna be a cutie. I think that is mom's nose by the looks of it.
Henry Michael is what they are saying for the moment ;). They want a strong name. So we shall see. No matter what name they choose this will always be fox to me. It is a very long story but a sweet one. I will share another day perhaps. Just wanted to share my joy.
sweet dreams my friends

Feast of Kings
There is a little spot called Big Beef Creek. It runs into the Puget Sound. It is a little bridge that separates the two. For about a week I have been driving by going to or coming from the vets office. Each time it would be a low tide. The oyster beds are there and on a few occasions I counted 12 to 15 Bald Eagles. Having their daily feast of Kings.
This is my favorite shot out of 110 pictures I took in about a hour. I just had to keep shooting it was so peaceful and aw striking. I couldn't help myself. Just a very peaceful happy solitude moment even though there were about 20 cars parked out there and everyone with cameras in hand. Some small pocket size, some cameras as big as a big and tall guys arms and some that looked like rocket launchers instead of a camera. LOL
Just look at the wing span on his fellow. WOW!
A grand view to behold here. I do love this Country and now you can see one of the reasons why.
Those little dark brown spots you see are eagles. There were a total of 15 this beautiful, glorious day.
You see the Eagle on the right. He or she is less then 2 yrs as it doesn't have the black color and white tail feathers yet. Papa is hunting for small fish or baby eels perhaps.
here are two more young ones. The one in front is molting. Looks pretty rugged. Reminds me of a teenager with acne. They always look bad in the teenage years. LOL
Here is the shot with the most eagles in it. They were spread out all over the place and I just couldn't get them all in one shot.
here is the last shot I took on this day. It just showed me how funny life can be.
A wild rose to plant it's self here among the weeds. Just goes to show you, that beauty can exist with the ugly. You just have to seek it out.
Blessings,Pea

Empty Nest and shoes come first!
LOL what a title huh? Well lets see. My dear Katers moved out a few days ago. I am okay with it. They have to fly away sometime. They are both working now and it was just time. I do miss her a little bit but I won't tell her that. It would just give her a big head. LOL
She was packing her car and the thing I found most funny is that out of all the things she decided needed to go first, even before her precious kitty is her SHOES! yes, folks this girl has a HUGE SHOE FETISH. Not just any shoes. She isn't a girly girl who has to have all the designer heels and such. Nope skater shoes. They say a picture is worth a 1,000 words where here is the JAW DROPPING PROOF!
All 250 pairs of them. That was not a typo 250 pairs of tennis shoes. Some pairs she has three of. One to wear, one to keep nice and 1 to sell later- MAYBE! She even keeps the original boxes well some of the boxes are worth more then the shoe inside too.? Don't get that but okay. She is a bargain shopper and she hasn't paid full price for any of these but one pair. They are super special and rare.
She even had to take the seats out of this very large Jeep to fit them all! Seriously? All I can say is SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! LOL
Finally I leave you with the bumper sticker that speaks of Katie. Right in the center for the world to see. LOL Cracks me up every time I see it.

A birthday card
My Honey turned 50 on the 22nd of this month so I had to make him a card. I had colored, yes colored this image months ago with my copics. In fact this is the first image I ever colored with my copics I think? It is a Stampin Up stamp I had purchased just for this set for honey. He got a giggle out of it anyway and it is still sitting on his desk- awwwwwwwwwwwww!
Some very old papers from Cosmo cricket and MME of course. See Tracy I matted each piece to make it pop. LOL Thanks teacher. LOL
Here is a little view of the inside. I love how it turned out.
This stamp is from MFT. It was perfect for this card. More of the cover papers inside & my message.
See you in the next post.

For a swap
This is another canvas tile. I can't show you but a few peeks as it hasn't been sent out yet and so far this is the only project she hasn't seen. I can't give it all away. What fun would that be? So for now you and she will have to be happy with a few teasers. Yes, Tracy I know you hate these but it is the best I can do.* snicker*
This is one of those vintage plastic cake toppers. It was blue and I painted it cream, then pearl and added gold Stickles to it. I cut off the base as it wouldn't fit and placed it onto a Tim Holtz washer. It fit onto the edge of the letter then. Can you guess what letter of the alphabet it is?
This has to be my favorite shot of the three I took. You can barely make out what it says and you can clearly see the vintage sheet music in the back ground. I used a Tim Holtz book plate, some chain and a vintage jewelry finding. Can't show you much more. Can you see the lace peeking out under the wing?
See there is lace and this wing. It is part of a die cut from Memory box. I adore this die as it is so intricate. Perfect for grunge paper. Lots of layers to this wing, but you can see more of that later.
Ta ta for now.

More of Tumwater falls
This was one of the most beautiful parks I have ever seen. It reminded me in spots of my beloved Glacier Park. My favorite place on this earth. I have even been to many great places including Paris, France and although it was beautiful in so many ways it does not compare in my heart, soul and beauty of Glacier.
Tumwater park will forever remain a soft spot to my soul. What a wonderful weekend to remember.
This is a baby falls that had found its way along the rock wall that surrounds the parks path. This is why it reminds me of Glacier. You see these baby falls pop everywhere.
This is a pretty shot too, another view of the falls from down the hill.
Look at the power of the water in this shot! I took video of it as well. I haven't uploaded it yet but I will hopefully today. It is so loud and powerful you can barely hear me and I talk pretty loud. This shot is of the lower falls.
Another shot from the lower falls. With the fallen tree in the middle.
Not really sure why this was at the bottom of the falls. Maybe for some kind of work on the Brewery that is down stream further. Not sure but I thought it was pretty neat looking. I see they had it tied up on both sides of the river. LOL
Spending the day with Cassi's family, Tyler and my honey was wonderful. The park and walk was a moment that will forever live in my heart but this picture took my breath away. Look at the pure joy on my son's face. I imagine I had that same look on my face when I found out I was pregnant, even though I was told I would never be a Mom. See this picture right here is proof of miracles!

Tumwater Falls Olympia Washington
Last month honey and I had gone to see the kids( Tyler- youngest son and his bride- Cassi and baby bump :) in Olympia. They took us to Tumwater park. WOW talk about beautiful. It is stunning. Warning this post will be picture heavy.
Since you rarely get to see what we look like I thought I would share this with you.
That is the upper falls you see in the back drop. I will share a full view picture of it.
Here is the middle falls
Yes, there is even more. I told you picture heavy post.
See how the little tree branch makes it's own little fountain? At first glance I thought it was a fish. I had to zoom in to see what it was.
I adore this next shot. Probably my favorite from the whole trip. I love the crooked branches of the trees and the water. Blue skies. Just so pretty to me.
I think I will continue with the rest of the shots on the next post.
