We Raised $'s for Haiti~ Thank you

Thank you all for your support for Haiti. I had a birthday on the 23rd and decided to add that days totals to the pot. A secret extension if you would. We earned 55.00 for Haiti. It doesn't seem like much, but do you know that will supply one family with water, food and shelter. I am please and I want to thank all my chickies for putting this on their blogs as well.

Now if someone will just start a foundation for our poor folks here at home that are in a tough spot so I can help them as well. I donate to Salvation Army as they help everyone.

Not much going on here. Helping Mom getting a few things taken care of. No creating to speak of, been kinda slumpish but will be back to the studio this evening. I need to create today. LOL

A wee bit of help for HAITI

Hello Everyone,
Watching the news is so hard to see so many folks suffering. I want to help. I can't fly over and help one on one. I am not a famous person that can donate a million dollars but hopefully I can raise a few dollars to help. The children is what kills me. So many suffering. Have lost what little they had. Makes ya grateful for what we do have.



You all know I am having a Pattern Mart sale and it ends Friday at Midnight. Every DOLLAR- that is 100% of all funds for FRIDAY goes to Haiti. I will send the money directly through paypal.
I know it isn't much but every little bit will help. It is what I need to do to help. Heaven is calling and I am simply following instructions.

A sweet bunny and her mouse friend tucked in her hat. Made from osnaburg and cotton batting. Together they measure 14 inches tall. The mouse measures just 2 1/4 inches tall. Tiny little fella but oh so sweet. You can find them on TDIPT Merchantile and read all their details I just updated it a few minutes ago.

We are having a E- pattern SALE! Yes, that is right. I am going to have a sale over at pattern mart starting tomorrow for one week only. Running from Friday the January the 15th through January the 22nd. I am lowering all my patterns to $4.00 each for this week ONLY! Thank you all for your well wishes for my Mom. She is resting and doing well. Still very scared but taking it easy. Thank Goodness she is listening to me just this once. LOL

Just when I thought I could relax...

I got a panic phone call from my mom yesterday saying she thought she was having a heart attack. I hung up and she called the neighbors to call 911 cause she won't leave the dog at home alone. I shot out of here like a bullet. No make up and looking like a wet hag but it isn't important when you get a phone call like that. Cried the whole way and of course I hit every red light. Rushed to the house knowing she was at the hospital. The neighbor took care of the dog and the other went with her. The only way to lock her house is with a key. Do you think we could find either mine or hers. NOPE! We later found both thank goodness.
I got the dog and took off running again. I knew I couldn't go without the dog. I know you all think I am nuts and you are probably hitting the mark, but the dog is family. It means the world to mom and the first thing she asked about.
I walked into er and monitors/she didn't look good. Then they tell me that I am the one that looks like they feel? Thanks so much I think I will leave now. LOL

They ended up keeping her overnight. Did a battery of tests and they came up inconclusive. So they are ruling it as a very mild heart attack and released her this evening. That is modern medicine for ya. Tell ya you almost died and you can go home now.)(*%*%&_)(*&(%^*%$$@!#$%
So she is resting. They gave her blood thinners and has to visit her reg. doc.
I am toast. I was on the way home when hubby called and said go back and get her, she can go home. It is about 40 minutes to her house. So whip around and off I was running again.
Took her to get some food and home. Then I went to walmart and michael's. Tee hee. Need to cool my jets. I was mad at the hospital for letting her go home. Nothing I can do. I wasn't there to argue.

So my friends. Call your moms today. I was thinking that 20 10 wasn't gonna start out very nice. It seems there has been a turn around. I still have my Mom.
