I don't really have time to update my blog tonight as I have laundry, dishes and blah, blah,& blah to finish. LOL Like all us Mom's our work is never done. So I am just gonna share some pictures of my latest creations with you.
Will try and catch up with you all soon:)
My little dragonfly guy Zippidy Doo Dah
My youngest son's birthday card
a happy card for a friend feeling the blues
Just a card to keep on hand. The inside is below
this card I made for a friend. This is the first time I have inked or colored this stamp. Have several more that ink have never touched. Gonna do one at a time.
I even made the flowers,
hand stitching along the edge, here is the close up
here is the inside. I love this sentiment. Perfect for the person it goes to.
So that is it for now. Off to create something while waiting for laundry. I should be in bed. Hubby waited until 11 pm to bring me pants he wants in the morning:(
Why do they have to do that? Grrrrrrrrr.
Have a great week

Ink Storage Solution Solved! YAY!
Having to dig made me not even want to use the inks on the bottom and I rarely did because of it.
Now for the solution.
TA DA!
This is the" Elite" from Stampin Things click link HERE. This is one of two pieces I have of theirs. Here is the other.
This is the "Topper" and it fits so wonderful on top of the Elite. Just perfect. I have room to grow *wink* and trust me I will* wink again*.
These two units hold all my stamp pads of many kinds. They hold stampin up & markers. The Memento,Hero Arts, Ranger Adirondack , distress inks, all the reinkers to any ink.
The tray on top holds a basket with my ink blender items, my ink spinner and a few other needful items stamp/ink related. Here is a picture of mine in my studio.
See how nicely everything fits? I just love it. The quality is really good. I mean they are so sturdy. They hand make each piece and they spin. I did a video on it. That is here.
I am as happy as can be with this solution. Go check them out if the old drawer isn't working for you either. LOL
So off to do some more organizing. Getting there, slowly but surely. I want to do it right and be done for good:)
Happy day to all

More projects and a video
I did 2 more projects. I have been working on this first one for about a month on and off. I knew what I wanted to do, but had to work out the kinks. It takes me a little while to work it out. Especially when I am so so tired. Taking care of mom is a full time job. LOL
This is a old portfolio from the 30's.
this is side A, yes there are two sides. Love that:)
this is a photo frame side created from the original mat that was inside. I didn't do too much as I feel sometimes the projects are so big that they distract from the beautiful pictures that it may hold.
Here is a close up of the details. The chain leaves are my favorites.
Onto side "B"
It is a pincushion. I love it. Created from a box lid. I had so much fun.
here is a close up. You can really see that crackle. I love the martha stewert crackle paint.
So I think I need to hit the shower since hubs is home and go to bed. Just totally wiped out again. I feel like I am been working 12's again. OMG.
I will share my last project tomorrow. If you like you can watch the video on all 4 projects below.
Have a wonderful night.
Blessings,Pea

Busy, busy, creative girl
That would be me the last few weeks. It seems I go through spurts. I am really good at getting stuff done for a few weeks and then I hit a low point again and can't seem to find time to get anything done.
I like it better when I post often and have lots to share. If you came today to see projects I have some. I know shocking huh? LOL
The first is a 5 minute card. I can't ever remember making a card that only took 5 minutes. Until now. Seriously that never happens. I really like it though and wish more of my cards came together this quickly. Then again I did no stamping, no inking and just used the pretty paper. Easy Peasy they say.
The card measures 5 x 5.
And for the inside
Just more of the wonderful papers. See told ya very easy.
I did a wee bit of stitching on the front two panels on this one. Distressed all the edges. But no ink. Really was hard to resist. I wanted to see if I could do shabby chic. I don't think this is there yet, but like going to go into cold water. You go in a little at a time. LOL
Project #2 is a tag
This is also shabby chic. I do love how it turned out. For a sweet lady who has breast cancer. So sad for her, but had to send her a little smile. I hope this makes her smile.
I think this is very pretty. I love the image and the leaves, OMG the leaves. I used acetate and cut them out with a sizzlet die. Then I stamped with white stazon ink. Love it. Will be doing this often. Love the softness of the white.
close up of this pretty
I am beat, beyond beat. So tired I could sleep for a week. So for now I am going to close here. I have 2 more projects to share and that will have to be tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by:)
Many blessings,Pea

Like Fainting Women
My great grandmother used to say" good intentions are like fainting women, they need to be carried out." LOL I know huh? I had good intentions of showing you a few more cards or projects every few days but again fell behind.
My story I guess. LOL
soooooooo I will share a card with you now.
I made this card for a swap I am in. I have a couple of them coming up so trying to get some goodies all gathered and ready to go while the mojo is flowing. LOL
Here is the close up. Yum, I really love this card and mom tried to buy it. LOL
Okay back to my dolly. Updates are soon and have to get this stuff done.
Have a good night:)

very special gift
The goodness of friends can bring so much joy. I am not talking about the presents although always appreciated . I am talking about time, sweet precious time. When a friend takes the time to create something with their own two hands. Even with all the other obligations and things they would like to do, I think there is no greater compliment. When I think of good friends I start to hum that old girlscout song we used to sing.
Make new friends but keep the old. One is silver and the other gold.
Two good friends took their precious time to create something for me for my birthday. It just warms the heart as I know HOW very BUSY both of these ladies are. The first is Brigitte- from http://paperandparis.wordpress.com/
Brigitte made this beautiful card. I just love it to bits. So classic just like Brigitte. Thank you so much PB for thinking of me:)
The second set of goodies is from My friend Tracy- you all know her as Tracy's Treasures.
http://tracystreasures-tracy.blogspot.com/
Tracy sent this lovely card so cutely colored, the mini notebook as she knows I am always hunting for paper to write things down and the best of all this mini brag book. OMG I saw this and was so super excited and touched. It is so cute and I can't wait to fill it up with pictures of my little fox. That will be the hard part, getting the prints made. Something I am terrible at. Don't know why? LOL
I will have to do it soon. What a sweet idea too.
Okay, I need to get some stuff done. I have been organizing my pinterest today too. It was a mess. LOL So much better but have lots of stuff to add, delete, move. It will get there. Then over the next week I have to get all my files backed up and ready to restart my pc. what a task that will be. UGH. Not looking forward to it I will tell you that.
Have a great night.

card # 5 and 6
I am on a roll lately and I couldn't be happier. here is card number 5
I am not really a pink person as you all know by now but I do love this card. The image is a pre-colored cheater image from lily of the valley stamps. His name is Thomas and I think it is so stinking cute. I even broke into a new stack of paper for this card. Tee hee, told ya I was on a roll. I hope it keeps going cause I am totally enjoying this.
My second card used another image from the same cheater set, hey I have them so I want to use them up right?
Isn't this too cute. I love this one even more then the first I think. It is the colors and patterns I think.I added a bit of diamond dust stickles to both of them. Couldn't help myself.
So I have a few more cards to share but I think I will save those for another post.
I have been creating a little bit and organizing almost daily. It is awesome. I am so happy I am able to do a little of both. I was stuck between wanting/needing to finish the studio and wanting/ needing to create. So now I work for a little while and then clean/organize. The studio is not done yet. It is a slow process for me while I am taking care of mom. I have about 4 hrs everyday to do all that I need or want to get done. That may seem like a lot of time, but you should see my list! LOL
I will put the materials list below in case you are interested in a particular product I used.

card #2 and #3
It is hard to believe that I have made 3 cards already for the year. Well to be honest I have made 5 so far but I will share more later.
The first card is My Grandson's very first valentines card. I hope the kids get a smile out of it, until Henry is really old enough to view it and know what it is. measures 4 x 5.5
I love how it turned out. The little stamp if you remember is one I just bought. I never use them this quick. I had also just purchased that paper about a month ago. I am so proud of myself for doing that.
The second card is always one we dislike making. For someone who has lost a loved one. I won't say sympathy because I honestly hate that word. I just say thinking of you. I used old stamps and products but that is good too. I haven't used them in a long time. I like the way it turned out. Even though I hate making them. So sad and never words that really impact how the person is feeling.:(
So what new items have you used recently. I challenge you to use something old( never touched) and something recently gifted or purchased. I am gonna keep using it all. I have continued with this using the brand new. I never thought I would. Really loving how freeing and fun it is. Have a creative weekend.
Product list is below in case you see something you want.

first card for 2013
I made a birthday card for my friend. Not at all what I had planned to do. I love this Inkadinkado stamp set. I wanted to color the image with my copics but wouldn't you know I am missing 1 green out of every green combo. LOL I think it is funny really and frustrating at the same time.
So I had colored him in blue/blah is all I can say. So I pulled the hardly ever used chalks( found as I was cleaning my room) and used them. Now with chalks I get blotches. Blah, so how to fix that? Um crackle accents is how. It turned out perfect.
Yes, the card was inspired by Kristina Werner. She does the stitching around the card. I do love her simple cards and that is what I was going for.
The inside part of the sentiment cracks me up.
Kinda how I feel after just celebrating another birthday;)
So here is the list of supplies, thanks for stopping by.
Recollections card base and envelope. standard card
Papers Echo Park-this and that graceful
Stamp- inkadinkado-age is a number
pebbles- chalk
ranger- archival ink- black
ranger- crackle accents
sakura-white roller( stitching lines)
linen thread-discount papercrafts.etsy
We r Memory keepers- corner chomper- 1/2 inch
scotch- atg gun susan g coleman
MFT sketch # 69
PTI- happy birthday- clear stamp
Now off to edit a video for You tube. just something fun. I have a few more to do tomorrow;)

The overhaul continues
Well still working on my studio. I do believe the overhaul will be wonderful when it is done. Lots yet to do. Right now I am placing all my stamps in CD cases. It is a big task but will be wonderful when done.
After I get that done each cd will go into a basket for that type of stamp.Whether it be sentiments, MFT( yea they have their own basket;) or nature. There are a few more categories but I am still working the details on that out? I have a few sets to get rid of too. I also have larger sets that require a DVD case. I would love to have one type of case but my shelves can't hold all DVD cases and the cost would be just NUTS! As it is I have to order about 30 more or so to just hold what I have and give me a few more for back up;)
The stamps are all in these baskets on the shelves you see in this photo
Mom is still here with us. We expect and pray that the move to her new home will be very soon. It is tough having her live here after all these years since I left home. We are making the best of it though. Bound to be a few hairy moments but we always manage to work it out, even if it means I let her win. LOL I can be very competitive and so that is hard for me to do. LOL
next will be the paper. BOY OH BOY. that will take a bit of work. LOL
Have a wonderful day

favorite cards for the year 2012
I don't think that I made a lot of projects at all. In fact I think I sucked at getting most anything done this past year. I used to keep track of all the things I made in a year. One year I made 3,000 items. Now that was a year that I was doing shows. But yes that is correct. My girlfriend and I kept track as it was a contest. It was fun though. I don't do shows anymore. Do I miss it? yea, I miss the money at Christmas and visiting with my customers but not the work, sweat, heartache, and dragging all that stuff around in the car weekend after weekend.
I think I am going to keep a journal about my projects again. It just helps me get going more I believe.
So now on to the cards for the year. Here are a few of my favs.
One of my all time favs made with Prima Printery.
This was all scraps that I had laying around. One of Enchantments scrapbooking.com's flowers. LOVE
ok, this is a tag but still one I like very much. Pink Paislee paper. Love this collection.
a sweet tilda image I colored. Now I really am not good at coloring yet, but I am working on it. I am gonna get better.
a birthday card for my hubs 50th birthday. I colored the image on this one too. Cosmo cricket paper.
this was probably my favorite card and I so totally cheated;) I used a pre-colored gorgous girl image. The flower is a hair scrunchie I cut off. I loved it. Wish I could color like this...ah someday maybe.
Now these two cards ended up looking like twins. I had no idea that 4 months later I would make the same card again. Same paper stack- my minds eye and a magnolia image. How funny?! So not intentional.
another card using up a few scraps I had on the desk and a Recollections bird charm. Love it.
again a lot of this card is left overs from the project. More flowers from enchantments and a bow that looks like a butterfly.
this was for a guys birthday. I really love the grunge on this one. So much fun to create.
Finally this is actually the first card I made for 2012. I love making winter cards. A sweet MFT image. Some of my favorite images are these little girls.
So that is it for cards for 2012. I guess I made more then I thought. At least I made 12 or so. Okay, so one a month- kinda .LOL
Next post will be favorite projects. I don't think there will be many of those but who knows? Maybe I will surprise myself?

Knee deep
In "stuff". We call this organizing around here or "stuff Shifting" well that is the polite way of saying it. I think this shifting part I have down pat. I have been doing it most of my life but I am now trying to turn a new leaf. Out with the old ways and onto a simpler way of life. Stop the shifting( eh well as much as possible) I have still have a man in the house* wink*.
The studio is what I am currently working on. I have many plans in the spring for some painting and new shelves but for now I am going through EVERYTHING! I am going to get rid of all the stuff I don't use and have no plans for. That should free up some wiggle room in here. LOL I will be having a yard sale at mom's and purging a bit on line too. Just too much stuff. I am a hoarder you all knew that. So that is another thing I plan on working on again this year. To use it, or loose it. Like your mind if you don't use it is goes stale. Well so do trims, paints and papers will go out of date fast.
I will be removing all the pink in the room as well. It was added by my mom and as much as I love her I don't like it. It isn't me. All the furniture will be white, and accessories will be either black or white. The pop of color will be the artwork. What little I will have room for but there will be some.
I am excited to get it done although I know it will be mid summer before I will be able to complete it. At least I can get it organized now.
Oh and before I forget, Happy New Year!
so what great plans do you have for the year?
Only a few things for me.
Organizing my house, visiting my new Grandson, learning to take better pictures, buying a new PC, and revamping my gardens.
Blessings,Pea

A change in scenery
Mom has left Harborview hospital and is now in a rehab center. She knows it is a nursing home and thinks I am trying to take her home from her. So not the case but the doctor ordered more care from her but did not need a ICU unit.
She is doing well physically. Has more balance, can eat, stand, sit, potty on her own. Her depth perception is off so I don't know if she will be able to drive again. Will have to wait and see. But she didn't have her glasses either so that may help. Still a little foggy upstairs but she had a stroke a week ago tomorrow so doing really well. Better then most get handed. I will go see her tomorrow and see if she still hates me. Probably but for now she needs to stay there. She may come to my home at some point. It will be a wait and see. God I miss Daddy:(
Off to do some sitting and relaxing. I so need that.
