Frosting

Our little world received a bit of fluffy frosting today, in the form of snow. I had to venture out with my new camera. I couldn't help myself. I really am enjoying taking pictures now. I don't know why I just do. If they are not of me anyway.:p..
This is my favorite tree on the property. One of two remaining blue spruces. We had tons of them but when they came in to survey the property they took down a dozen or more.:(. I love this old tree. Right out my back door almost.

Made some real headway on the studio last night. Had a migraine yesterday and went to bed. Rest was all I needed but didn't think it would require quite so much of it. Took a 5 hour nap. That did the trick but then I was up all night. At least I made some progress.

Tracy of Tracy's treasures is challenging herself with quite a bit so my challenge this year is to try and blog every other day. I don't know how long I can keep yammering on but I will do my best. LOL I also took on the challenge to take more pictures. Life is a journey and we should record this journey of ours. So this is my task and so far my joy. Thank you for tagging along. Studio pics and new items coming soon.
I have been listing a few goodies on facebook so if you are in a market for doll or baby clothes and who knows what else will turn up, then pop on over and peek.
thanks for tagging along.
Many blessings,Pea

Good luck with your challenge for yourself! Mine is just to put a dent in my list of things to get done. I take tons of photos so one of my "to do's" are to get them into pictures instead of sitting on cd's. We'll see :0)

I am so happy that I was a bit of inspiration for you. Ya I kind of did take on a bit to much, I hope I don't crash and burn ;)
I wish I was good at photography. Everyone else in my family is, just not me.
Love your photo, beautiful.

Good for you Schell, Us Mom's have so much to do sometimes it is hard to get it all in one day. You will get there. Transfer one dozen to the developer a payday. Then pretty soon you will be all caught up.
Good luck

Tracy, you will be fine. You are a busy girl and like it that way.
I know somethings I may fail at but try, try again. Try not, do not right?
Your pictures are fine, it is the editing that makes them come alive. There are TONS of free sights that you can do that with. ask the kiddo's they will know.;)
thank you, I am pretty happy with my new camera. It is making my pictures look much better.

Hi Pea!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and giving such a nice compliment. That was the first thing I read this morning and you made my day!

I have absolutely enjoyed my visit here at your blog.. You take wonderful pics and I love your dolls:)

and.. as I was reading on.. I noticed you and I had the same thing in common.. we both painted and shoved everything into a room to create a studio ...I redoing my studio too.. I have gathered everything needed to start the re-do but, I only have 3 days I can afford to do this in, before i have to get back to creating.. My brain thinks I am still young and can do it in a day..but my ol' body is wondering if I'm gonna need more then 3 Lol....

Have fun and I cant wait to come back and visit.

Happy you dropped by to visit me, enjoyed my visit to your place, checked out your new camera...I had a little Canon that took fantastic close ups but had all kinds of functions I didn't have a clue about. Gave it to my son...I need something that takes a decent close up, is light weight and EASY to use...BTW your pictures are fantastic...love the header pic!

Hi Pea,
Thanks for stopping by to say hi. Between babysitting my grandson and doing all of my embroidery jobs...that hasn't left me with alot of time. So, I've been peeking in on everyone's blogs...but haven't been leaving many comments.
Love your photo!! We have about 5 inches of snow on the ground and it makes our pine tree look so pretty too.

Thank you Diane, I am glad that I could make your day. SMILE:)
I have been creating and not finishing the studio. I couldn't stand it any longer. I know it will get done just as soon as I am done with my little projects. I plan on trying to finish over the weekend but we shall see.
I can't wait to see your studio all finished. I am sure it will be done long before mine.
You are welcome back anytime.

Theanne,
there are tons of little camera's by canon and fuji has a great little pocket size too on QVC that i saw in person and is perfect for the pocket kind of picture taking. Great close up feature on that one and smile detection is a plus! I looked at a LOT of cameras before deciding on this one.
Thanks for stopping by, saying hello and please come again.
