Just a horrible day

This week has been aweful. Everything that could go wrong has. Ever have one of those weeks?
Today was just the icing on the cake. I melted. My God Mother( Sue's Mom) is in the hospital and was given the grave news that she has colon cancer- which is what took my precious Sue's life. My mom had to put down my Dad's dog whom I loved very much. Seems like another piece of me went to heaven with him.
Then my car almost broke down on the stinking freeway. Off we were two kids in the car to the on ramp and my car won't go. All of a sudden it jerks and then goes. Thought maybe just hit the gear somehow. Doing okay but still feel something not right. Get to town and had a list of things to get for my son's birthday dinner/ celebration tomorrow evening. We ended up leaving town, calling for help/possible tow. We made it home but it was scarey for me. Now I have no gift for my beloved Jacob, and had to change the dinner plans.
I was going to town to buy some needed items as well and now probably won't have the funds for those with the car repairs. Sometimes life just stinks. I am just angry and feeling a bit broken. Just needing to vent. Sorry, just needed to get it off my chest.
Going to go and try and work. Doubt if I will be able to but I will attempt to anyway.

Oh poor you. I know how this feels, but it will all pass and nice sunny days will arrive. It's like they song... along with the sunshine you have to have a little rain sometimes.
Mind you i think you have had a downpour.
Hoping the sun shines bright for you soon.

Dear Pea, bad things happen to people everyday. My latest was a huge electric bill because of a new glitch in our geothermal system. You know the one that cost about 20 grand to put in. My point is not to complain but to gently remind you that their will always be challenges and you need to remember you are still one of the lucky ones, you woke up this morning. As I read some of my favorite blogs about husbands getting laid off in this economy I count my blessings and that electric bill will get paid. I hope your week gets better.

Awww Pea sweetie ,I am sorry about your dad's dog it is hard losing a sweet pet ,and the word of a loved one with cancer is so hard that one I totally understand . I know that feeling of broken all to well I have gone beyond that lately I think .Way to much going on around here sometimes you wonder just how much more you can take we learn how strong we are thats for sure :) Hubbies pick-up broke down a couple weeks ago and was pricey to fix now issues with mine so I get the car thing .and hubby is having problems with his knee which needs surgery for the third time now he can hardly walk he is in so much pain but off to work he went today although I begged him to go to the doctor .among so much other stuff that has been going on for some time and nothing I can do but wait it out and hope for the best and remain as calm as possible .some days it feels as if it will never end :)you would think after years of this stuff it would get easier huh.right it gets harder I think . All I can say sweetie is try to focus on the good stuff remember all those little blessings, look into your sweet kids eyes that will bring a smile and drown yourself in your work if possible I know it is hard to concentrate when things get tough but once you get into it, it will help .And just hope for better days ahead and have lots and lots of faith :)its all one can do hon .sending you a great big (((HUG )))I hope today is better for you :)

I'm so very sorry for all the bad things happening. It does seem like when one thing goes wrong, more follows. Sending you blessings and warm wishes for better things to come. :)

Thank you all for writing with words of wisdom. I believe that everyone has good points and sometimes it just takes ya to read it to know that this too shall pass. Yes, I have much to be greatful for and when trouble hits I get lost in it all. I am a emotional person and so when stuff like this hits I have to get it out. Off my chest or it will consume me.
Thank you for letting me vent and for your words of kindness and support. It is appreciated more then you could know. Today is a new day and no gloom here with a Birthday to celebrate.
Hugs,Pea
