Thank You Tonya

Friends are one of lifes most precious gifts. I have been blessed to have met so many wonderful folks through the internet and Tonya of Back Porch Pickins in one of them.
I had asked Tonya if I could hire her to make me a new banner. She told me on my birthday that this was my gift. I would have to wait as she is always so very busy but worth the wait it was. Look at this wonderful banner. Tonya knows that butterflies hold a special spot in my heart. Something between my Daddy and I. So she placed a few in my banner. Isn't that nice.. I love the old feel of it and yet it suits the whimsical side of me to a T or should I say P? LOL Thank you Tonya it is beautiful!

I know I have been absent but I have been running, working and more like a mad woman. I have so many projects and sites due all at once. Not only that but the normal tasks of kids, Mr.Peabody, house, pets and taking all of them where they need to go. You may not see much of me this week as I am preparing for my Mother's visit. She is coming for a short visit and to look for a house. We need to find her something in only a weeks time. YIKES. So I have to get this place in tip top shape as she has severe allergies. So I will be running again not to mention the golf thing is still on going.

I thought I would show you a little sneak peek of one of my items for the new site
ARTS A FLUTTER( CLICK HERE) It UPDATES TONIGHT at 10 PM.
I am so excited and actually managed to get three items done for the opening of the site. That is amazing with all that I have been up to lately. Now to bust my butt to get the rest of the stuff done this week. Yikes.
Okay everyone I must scoot if I am to get anything done. Have a wonderful week and play nice.

A NEw Book GIVE AWAY

Susan Tuttle has a new book out. I just viewed this book a few days ago at Barnes and Nobles. Susan Tuttle makes you see ordinary things in an EXTRODINARY new way! It is true. L` from prims 4 him wrote that and I couldn't agree more. I am finding that I appreciate more art everyday and this book is no exception. She is giving one away on March 25th so hurry to her blog and enter to win. I would LOVE to win this book. It has so many cool ideas and techniques in there, really makes the old think tank rev up the batteries and doodle a few ideas. Go check out Exhibition 36
Have a wonderful creative day.

I just love Spring Give Aways

A very kind, gal over at Prim 4 HIm is having a give away. A lovely little bird, 2 nests and goodies to be added. If that doesn't make you think of spring no matter what the temp in your world nothing will. Ahhhhhhhh spring, I personally can not wait!

Now I am off to have a bit of fun tomorrow. My car is back and well we might be broke but I can at least hit the grocery store. What the hey the car only cost me 1200 dollars to be fixed. A small price to pay really when you think it could have been the trannie! Thank God it wasn't. Hey I might even get to go to church this weekend. whoo hoo.
Have a wonderful weekend making memories.

Things are looking up a bit.

Well today I am feeling a bit better. Talking not so much like I swallowed the biggest frog on earth the bad news is DD got my frog. OH boy. Even being sick today she had the biggest news and couldn't wait to tell me. Her name was in the local Paper the Bremerton Sun. She was in the sports section of the paper as the first Upcoming player to watch for her golf team. She was on cloud nine as the list came in order from the coach. Whoo hoo- you go little girl! He told us she is a natural and thrilled to have her on the team. Wish she had joined her freshman year.. Oh well things turn out the way they are supposed to be I guess. She does love it and I know this because Katie hates the cold and yet she never complains when she is on the field freezing her toots off chasing a little white ball.LOL

The mechanic called today and the new computor for the car is in. Now have to wait for another part tomorrow. But hopefully will have the car soon. I can't wait to be able to go out again. Wasn't it me a few days ago complaining about being in the car? LOL Can't win all the time I guess.
Well I am off to work. With being sick I haven't got much done. I would only work for short spurts and go to bed. Can't sew if your eyes are crossed.
Have a wonderful weekend. I looking to going to the quilt shop to spend some free pennies on fabric. whoo hoo free fabric I love those words together. LOL
Blessings,Pea

P.S. it won't let me load the picture. Our new router showed up today so hopefully that will fix the internet problems we have had.

Mistaken Delivery

Okay, I think there has been a mistake. We were delivered some snow and in fact about 5 inches of this cold, perfect powder and well I might be yours? If it is yours could you please and come and pick it up? I hate to keep it if it belongs to you. Keeping you from using your shining skis, sleds and let us not forget about the kids who want a snowday to have a good old fashioned snowball fight.
Come ON OVER!

I woke up this morning with every intention of going to church till I looked outside. Then though okay go to town instead. Talked DH into going. Ofcourse we have to use his car as mine is still broke. Than it kept on snowing. He said I will hit the little store instead. It is still snowing as we speak. Good grief. Big old flakes. It was 50 something just the other day and DD was wearing shorts for golf. Mother Nature is off her rocker is all I can say.
Well I guess I won't be taking the car back tomorrow. OH boy fun, fun to wait some more. Well I am getting sick anyway. I have been dodging this cold for months and I think it finally caught up with me. Joy oh joy!
Have a good one.

Happy birthday Jacob!

My boy is 25 today. WOW where did the time go? It seems like yesterday I was tug him around like a football. First day of school, first girlfriend, first so many firsts there are just too many and I am honored to have been witness to most of them. He is such a nice guy too. Serving this great Country of ours, still finding time for the ones he loves. The kind of kid that you can call in a moments notice and he is right there willing to help any way he can. Very much like his Father in that aspect. I couldn't be prouder of him and who has become.
we are having a little dinner, cake and ice cream. YEH I GET CAKE!! LOL After this week I think I need some. Nothing fancy but love and time.
Must scoot and get the dinner going. He requested beef stroganoff but it is yummy.
Have a wonderful day. The sun is shining so this is wonderful in a rain forest.

Just a horrible day

This week has been aweful. Everything that could go wrong has. Ever have one of those weeks?
Today was just the icing on the cake. I melted. My God Mother( Sue's Mom) is in the hospital and was given the grave news that she has colon cancer- which is what took my precious Sue's life. My mom had to put down my Dad's dog whom I loved very much. Seems like another piece of me went to heaven with him.
Then my car almost broke down on the stinking freeway. Off we were two kids in the car to the on ramp and my car won't go. All of a sudden it jerks and then goes. Thought maybe just hit the gear somehow. Doing okay but still feel something not right. Get to town and had a list of things to get for my son's birthday dinner/ celebration tomorrow evening. We ended up leaving town, calling for help/possible tow. We made it home but it was scarey for me. Now I have no gift for my beloved Jacob, and had to change the dinner plans.
I was going to town to buy some needed items as well and now probably won't have the funds for those with the car repairs. Sometimes life just stinks. I am just angry and feeling a bit broken. Just needing to vent. Sorry, just needed to get it off my chest.
Going to go and try and work. Doubt if I will be able to but I will attempt to anyway.

for the love of PETE!

Girls, I have been living in my car for the last 5 days and I am just about ready to move the pillows and blankets in there. That would be one way to get some sleep.
My Gosh, the "child" the only one left Thank Goodness has had me running here and there, yonder and back. Now it is 17 miles to town and 17 miles back. so guess how many times I have had to fill up the car? If someone guess right I will give them a e-pattern. How about that?
Gas is about $2.18 here for reg. unleaded. I can't use that of course so it costs me about 2.30 a gallon.
DD decided that since it is her senior year she wanted to play sports. So golf it is. The other sports that were available cost 500.00 in equipment so that was out of our budget sadly. But they can't have it, do it all ya know.
Thanks to a friend for hunting for me, I got the clubs at a steal, bought the balls and t's yesterday. Along with her meds and physical. Oh let us not forget the bee sting kits- yes very important but grand total for yesterday was about 300.00 bucks and that was before lunch and gas.. LOL In the tank girls. No naughty thinking aloud. LOL

Now I know that I said I would show some goodies, but I have surprised their new owners so I must wait a few more days before they arrive as I know she sneaks on here once in a while.
I have WIPs on the table and working like a mad woman when I am not driving.
Hope to show them soon.
So beside the running for DD I was also going to the bank here for my mom. She said to pick up a check for her. Well I have been to the bank since Sunday everyday. I called to let her know that it still was not here. LOW and behold it wasn't a check but a money gram. GOod lord now I feel stupid for getting tickie with the gal on the other side of the counter. So tomorrow- you guessed it, I have to go back to town. UGH get that and then run a few more errands. I wanted and needed to stay home. I may have to skip church this weekend and just stay home and work. That might be nice to sleep in too. I have witnesses I have been getting up early. Okay anything before 11 is early for me. But early like in 8:30 or 9 am. That is something for me to brag about since I am a night owl. I have been known to stay up till 7 am and then sleep for 5 hours and get up and do it again.
Alright then off and running. I am actually yawning and running out of steam. Will have to hit the hat soon but need another coat of paint on something first.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs,Pea

P.S. my girl friend Kris took this picture of a local town last fall. Pretty huh?
It is cold here and snowed so I thought we could use a little sunshine. Enjoy.

Down Memory lane

As a child, I was lucky enough to have a Mother that sewed and loved doing so.
My Mother made a lot of clothes for me as a child and young woman. She even made some designer clothing for me when I was pregnant with my kids.
Every Easter and Christmas without fail My Mother sewed a red dress for me. I am a red head and hated to wear red and still do but it is my favorite color. My Daddy liked red. So he picked the color, I picked the fabrics and Mom made the pattern then the dress. She started sewing at the age of 10 for herself when she got her first job. She did laundry and babysat for the neighbors to buy fabric.

One year Momma made me this dress. Butterflies are my thing. Always have been. So she made this dress for me for Christmas. Out of all the things she has made me and there are 100's of outfits this was my favorite. The funny thing is I hated dresses except at Christmas. My dolly had a matching outfit but I don't know where that went. She saved this dress and the bottom skirt was turned into a coming home outfit for my eldest son when he was born.
I came across this picture the other day and all those wonderful memories came flooding back. I know I was a goofey looking kid but I am showing you this picture despite that fact.
I never have sewn for my kids. Oh little things but no clothing. I never enjoyed making clothes for people. I often tease my Mother and tell her that dolls don't complain if the arms are too tight.. LOL

I was curious if any of you doll makers/artists have a story to tell about your favorite outfit?

I had a very busy day today and am just dog tired. So off to bed I go my friends.
I hope to show you some goodies tomorrow. We shall see how much I can get done if I get some rest.

Terrible Pea

Oh what a week I tell ya. Dh was so very ill. He is doing better but the doctors only medicated the problem instead of dealing with it. I just won't even go there with ya'll. I was trying to work- yeh right, and I simply forgot to share my goodies from the Love tokens swap you all. Just in case you missed that part of it.
Tonya.
made me these wonderful goodies. Wrapped so nicely, and behold a sweet little lady box, note pad and glittered heart and a cupcake candle. Everyone knows how I love cake. I love all my goodies and Tonya does such nice work. Thank you my friend for swapping with me.

I also got my prize from Angie.
she had a give away and I guessed right so I won a set of her wonderful lights. OMG don't ya know they are birthday cake scented! LOL I am in heaven I tell ya. I think I will hang them up in my studio. It will smell like cake and I will never want to leave. LOL Then maybe I will get something done. Thank you Angie, I love them. I will have to add the picture tomorrow. It is late and I don't have batteries charged for the camera.

well off to read my book. It is due tomorrow. Have a wonderful Sunday.

ALMost got a dolly!

Tonya and I were matched up for a valentines swap. I was most excited yesterday when I returned from town to find her box. I couldn't get it open fast enough. All so carefully packaged. I got it open and here is a card addressed to Jenny.
ut-OH! I knew that Jenny was getting a package as well, a sweet little Daisy dolly.
I called Tonya afraid to open the package any further thinking it was for Jenny. She said open it. I did and there was the sweetest of Dollies. Oh how I wanted to keep her but Tonya threatened me with bodily harm. LOL Then Jenny would be flying out here to kick my butt too! But I did get to see her and all the tiny little details that went into her.
Soo for a moment she was mine! Ya know love something and set it free, it will come back to you! Ha ha wishing thinking. BUT I do have something to LOOK forward too! a wonderful swap package. I can't wait to see the goodies.

Tonya did how ever get her package( knuckle head) LOL. I made her a pin keep with a tiny kitty on it.

It turned out so cute and she is always showing us pictures of her furr babies. That was my inspiration. I made it so she can have it out year round if she likes. I think this swap was fun and maybe join another one in the future.
Have a PURR-FECT valentines day my friends. I will be creating this evening. Hope to have pictures soon.

Oh Naugty, naughty kitty! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Oh I could just spit nails at the moment. I am very mad at what is a seemingly sweet face- my Bootsie. I keep my studio closet closed cause she likes to get in there and knocks stuff down. If that is all she had done I would be upset but would get over it in a few minutes. Nope, not that easy.

I keep my nice tissue in my closet. Ya know the kind we use for something special. Like the stuff I got for the valentines swap. I had it all in there. Matching tissue, tags and etc. Well Boots got in there to and made a nest out of it. But not just one sheet mind you. A entire stack of about 12 different tissues with 10 to 20 sheets each. It is all ripped and shredded. She even ate some of it. Not to mention my bag collection. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Just look at the mess she made. Not even big enough to cut and use half. So I saved what I could and that ended up being about 5 sheets.

I am keeping the other for scrap booking stuff. Now I will have to replace my tissue collection for those special things. I even had Mom's tissue in there for Mother's Day. A pretty blue/brown.

Durn cat anyway. She knows I am mad at her. She keeps trying to suck up. Maybe tomorrow it will work.

Hope your day was better then mine. SOrry just had to vent.

I will miss her!

Oh sometimes we create things that really makes us smile or giggle. This is one of those dollies.

I have been enjoying her and greatly enjoyed making miss Flora the Fairy FRog Mother. But she is spreading her wings and flying to Texas to live with a new dear one in need of many wishes granted. Right after I get her to MAKE IT STOP SNOWING!!! LOL
This was made from a Soft in the Head pattern. I just added my own twist to a wonderful pattern. Thank you Pam for sharing it with us.

Now I must get to work. Trying to finish up my list of creation in the studio. The chatter boxes in there are starting to gang up on me. Oh dear, Oh my what will I do? LOL

Have a wonderful day my pretties. I will be back soon.

Just a scary moment

Have you ever done something that you didn't want to do but knew you had to? Something that made you shake in your boots? Afraid that others would judge you and make you self conscious?

I did one of the things today that made me feel just that way. I got up at my church and spoke to the whole congregation. I was shaking so badly that I could barely stand or hold the microphone. I must say that it was easier when I was a kid in debate and drama. I had a lot less nervousness and didn't care so much what people thought.

In the end I did it and did better then I thought I would do. I did my part and they better not ask me to do that again for awhile. LOL

Now I must get back to work. I have to get ready for class tomorrow. My gosh, my life is so busy lately. DD is keeping me hopping with all the senior stuff, helping out others, church, my home work and then the ususal wife stuff. I need some good sleep.

IN the picture above you will see my lady Bug shaker for Pfatt this month. I think she turned out sweet. I am working on some new ones this week. Stay tuned and have a wonderful Monday.

Miss Bootsie

A good friend I once had.

Just a pretty girl

Kinda a James Dean Look

Okay. so I love Nerds! What can I say?

*GULP*Okay it is me, don't like it but it is what it is. Now that is all the sharing you are gonna get! For now anyway.LOL
Have a good one.

Tag you are it!

Jenny of Wonders of Whimsy tagged me with this unique tag. I don't really like the ones where you have to tell about yourself. I mean does anybody really want to know about me anyway? I don't think so. LOL

This is from July 4th last year. This is my youngest child Katie playing her music. She plays by ear and has taught herself to play. My Katie Rocks! LOL Plays about 2 hours or more every single day. Right now she is teaching herself to play the mandolin. I bought her that for Christmas.

This one is different. It is simply a picture. Interesting to see pictures. so here are the rules.
I am to upload the FOURTH photo from my FOURTH folder on my computer and tag FOUR others.

Renae of Birch Berry Farms
Mo of Wings and Paws Primitives
Renae of Raggedy Blessings
JenW of Purty Girl Primitives

Okay back to work for me. I thought that I would have something done for ebay today and it don't look done to me. LOL So I must get the stuff done. Deadlines and a order to complete. Blessings to all.

THE ARTIST

Now that I made Everyone cry and really didn't mean to. Maybe I can make you snicker*? Just look at that stupid hat! That makes me laugh.
I have three wonderful children. Each one unique in their own special way. Each one has special talents and I am most proud of them as all us Mom's are.
I would like to tell you a little about the "HAM" in the family. That would be goofy, lovable, Tyler. Our Middle son. He is the ARTIST or one of two children that carry the artist gene. LOL
Tyler has held a pencil since he was just about three years old. A very busy little boy. Always into something and never sat still for long until you gave him paper and crayon. He has never stopped and draws about 2 hours every single day.
This artwork you see here is one of his creations. I have his permission to share it with you.

Just look at all the details. This is a character drawing of a dwarf that looks like his brother in the face. LOL It is funny because Jake is quite a bit taller then this. Several inches taller then Tyler.
When talking to Ty I thought that this took hours and Ty tells me that it took about a hour to draw this. WOW! I wish I could draw but I can not. The people in my family that can are my Hubby, my Mom, my MIL and my Brother. My Father I am told could as well. NO fair that I can not but them are the breaks.

Tyler has always been the goofey, funny, smarty pants in the family. He broke his arm, shoulder and shoulder blade in 5 places, standing on a basket ball trying to impress a girl. LOL It worked though. He made her laugh.
Just look at his Senior picture. Yep, this went into his annual. OMG is what my Mother said. But this is Tyler. No one will ever forget that picture.

So this is just another peek into my life and those around me. This is my giggle maker. Alot like his Dad, Mr.Peabody and a bit like me- poor baby. LOL I will share more about the rest of the pod later.
Have a wonderful day and share the crayons will ya?
Hugs,Pea

THE WIND BENEATH MY WINGS

People have often asked or wondered who I am referring to when I speak about the" Wind beneath my wings"?

Sue was her name and she was my best friend and chosen sister. Her family became mine, mine hers. Sue and I crafted together for many years. We created many gifts for family and things for local sales. We were two peas in a pod. Like most best friends it was her always urging me to give this business a go. I would say" No, I make a little but not enough to call it a business". Sue was Irish/ Italian and well if ya know that combo then you also know the word NO is not a option. Still I kept putting it off. A thousand excuses to why. A new puppy and baby. Three kids now, no time etc. All good excuses in my eyes, but Sue kept pushing me.

Sue was diagnosed with colon/cervical cancer at the age of 25 and was told that she has 3 to 6 months to live. She passed away 3 years later at age 28. Her last words to me, was for me to promise her that I would be published and to start my business. To never give up as she would always be there watching me. Not to use the scissors to cut wire. LOL She used to sharpen my scissors for me. To go and be happy.

Her passing left a whole in my heart so large that I thought it would never heal. When I lost her I lost part of me. I couldn't even create for many months. Time does heal all wounds. Even the bigger ones.

Sue knew that I loved art and what I did with a bit of cloth brought me and others joy. She would have loved my new business name and I am sure she giggles at some of the characters that come from that cloth. Not a single creation leaves the studio for it's new home without my mark. A little swirl under my name. Something that Sue did often when writing.

So this is my Angel. The driving force that got me started and that promise I hold to this day. I did everything she asked of me. Even when I didn't want to. How can you say no to the Wind beneath your wings?

So if your best friend is telling you something. Listen. It could change your life.

Have a wonderful week and Thank you for being a part of my journey.

Pretty Pin Keep

I just got this beauty done a little while ago and had to share with you all. It is a wool pin keep made from a Sassafras Hill Primitives pattern. I even stuffed it with wool. Weighted a little bit and used lots of vintage trims and old lace. It also has a hat pin made with glass beads. Very girlie and Shabby looking. But a bit fun too. Certainly useful and pretty. Scissors are not included. Those are my favorite pair.

She will be going on the A Time for Primitives website on the 1st. I have a few more items to get done for that including another bird pin keep. I have one more to do.
So back to work for me. I hope to share a few more things with you tomorrow.
Have a great day and stay warm. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr it is cold out there.

WHAT A WONDERFUL BLESSING FRIENDS ARE

I have always thought that I was blessed with good friends and family. I love people and so I try hard to treat everyone well.
I have made many friends here in the World Wide Web that I feel will be friends for life. I also have the most wonderful customers that a person could ask for.
One customer arranged with several of my friends to surprise me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Red Tulips and Dutch Iris's. Two of my favorite flowers.
I had to go and get my new Drivers License with the terrible picture, and came home to this big box on the porch. OMG is all I could say. I have the best friends. How very special I felt in this Big Old World.
Tears of joy flowed down my cheeks and my nose looked like I might be leading Santa's sleigh as I read the card attached.

Dear Pea,
We thought we'd get together and send you a little something to tell you how special you are and that we are happy that you were born this day.
Go out there and enjoy your day! Happy birthday Pea!!
- Hugs and smiles from your friends, Alba and Arnold, Pam Gracia( Soft in the Head), Tonya (Back Porch Pickins), Linda Greene( Meadowbrook Cabin Primitives) and Annie(Allegheny Annies-glitter your world)

What a joy to know that these wonderful Artisans think of me as a friend. I am honored and privileged to know them. More thankful for their generous gift than words could express.

When the Postman arrived yesterday with 2 packages, I thought what could this be? I received all my orders. A sweet little Valentines box arrived from my friend Alba. What a giving, caring friend she is. Thinking of me again. Just look at the wonderful goodies she made for me. Time and love went into that box.

Then last week when so much was going on with Mom, I felt the need for a angel. A angel was sent from the dear Kimmie of Prims by Kim . A wonderful gift for my Birthday. She now hangs in my studio and what a adorable painting she is. Kimmy has the finest crackle. Just darling. Thank you Kimmy and Alba for making my day so very special. Everyone made me feel special with birthday wishes. Thank you ALL!
Loves ya,Pea

Good News

Well me Mom is home now. They said that she just strained herself something terrible and it stressed out her heart. Over DOING it which what I told HER! but she won't listen to ME! LOL
Talked to a few good friends today and my best friend called. I feel much better now that I got it all out. Thank you! Just being so far away.
Changed my blog color twice and still not happy with it. Not one there that is perfect, well there is but it is Christmas. LOL so gotta hope they do some more designs soon.
Thank you all for your comments and prayers. Appreciated. Momma is resting and taking it easy for a few days.

Oh Boy!

I am reeling right now. Don't know if any of this will make sense as I am thinking at super sonic speed. I know my hands can't keep up.
Got a call this evening from my Mom's neighbor. She was taken to the hospital by a friend. Crying, migraine, chest pain, trouble breathing, arm aching and jaw as well. They are keeping her for a few days to run test. Talked to her and she sounds scared, helpless and out of control- WELL that makes TWO of us! LOL
She called a bit ago as I had talked to the nurse but he didn't know anything as had just came on shift,-figures. I wanted to know my usual ban of questions( my Dad and nephew have heart issues) so I know more then the average bear.
They had her call after the Doctor came in and all blood tests are normal. SO they are gonna do more tomorrow. A chemical stress test to be exact. It doesn't appear to be a heart attack. So that is good news. The doctor that took care of my daddy all those years, it is his son taking care of Momma. So that was very nice to hear as he is like family. I know she is in very good hands.
I hate being so very far away. I knew she was doing too much the last few weeks and I was right. Stubborn redhead. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Well have a good night everyone. I am gonna go get some rest. I am worn out emotionally and physically. A hot shower and bed for me.

My Sanctuary, My studio

I am almost afraid to go in there now and make a mess but, I did. I cleaned it up right away though. grin. I just couldn't leave it a mess. It was fun and I just played a bit. I had to go to bed and crash. Just so tired. Too many late nights and not enough sleep.

When you walk to the door you will see three of my favorite dollies. Kitty by Karmen Troyer of Crows in the Holler. My Miss Sophia dolly by Tonya from Back Porch Pickins and the give away dolly I won by Miss Sylvia Anderson. The Sweet Pea sign is from a local artist.

Not to mention the shelves I need to paint so put my dollies on. smirk*

This little star was a gift from my friend Lex of North Star Primitives. It smells wonderful.

These stacking units came from Michaels and you can use Michaels coupon from online or a Joann's to get them. I got two at a time on sale for about 40 bucks. They are wonderful and plan on getting at least two more.
On top you will see my Ready Teddy and Go piece. cracks me up.A mad carrot and beside it the heart says" Bless your dear Heart" made from a girlfriend. Along with that is cupid's charm From Syliva Anderson.

In this picture you see the old sewing machine and the work table. A gift from my best friends step Mom. That thing has seen some years and damage. LOL The basket is where I keep it all handy. I don't like to move around much if I don't have to. LOL

This is my studio baby. This is Miss Boostie and she is looking at that box, like she just cleaned up the joint and she is bringing in more crap. LOL

T.V., DVD and the box for cable. Work table for cutting fabric and painting. You see my most used paints/glues in a pepsi crate for easy access. I love that. great idea from dear old Mom the queen of being organized.

A free basket to keep floral foam in for things while they dry and the pepsi crate.

Behind my chair is this shelf. I love this piece. Painted by a Local artist. It has my collection of pinkeeps, the painted box from Mindy of Pine Hollow Primitives, my Polka dot Pixie snowman a Christmas gift from a dear friend as well as the pinkeep from The daily Pincushion, and a wee snowman I won from Dawn of the Feathered Nest. There is a picture of my hubby there too which is a rare piece since he hates his photo taken. The triangle in the back ground my late Father made in High school.

My chalk board with uplifting thoughts and bulliton board with the sweetest picture of my folks I have ever seen. I had to put it there. Just felt right. Now I hope to be filling the bulliton board with ideas soon.

The two fabric cabinets, sewing drawers with handy items and in the middle books and stitchery patterns. Storage on top in cheap 1.00 photo boxes.

Happy thoughs sign from a local artist. Thank you Heather.

Last but not least is Mrs. Black, the Old Crow herself. From Pam of Soft in the Head. She is my studio Mascot. She sits high on the sterio dancing to the music and making sure I am doing it right. LOL

So there you have it. Nothing fancy just a bit of fun. Now I have to get busy. Clean room or not.
Have the most wonderful day and I would love to see where you all create. Any ideas on how to make it better, I welcome them.
Hugs,Pea
